Yet, the realistic component in her paintings is but a mere
quotation, only one of numerous elements applied to create the
tension which exists between opposites. The straight, the round,
the angular are brought into a relationship and so are the colours
yellow, red, green and blue as well as the soft and hard, the
transparent and opaque, animate and inanimate objects … Since
their vicinity is calculated in an almost mathematical precision,
the artist creates an appealing co-existence of realism and
abstraction.
